Perhaps you love looking at orchids or have always wanted to display some in your home. The upcoming "Orchids by the Bay" show, hosted by the Northwestern Michigan Orchid Society, will give you the opportunity to do both. Coming soon to the GT County Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27, visitors can view the award-winning orchid displays and purchase plants and supplies from vendors. NMOS members will be on hand to provide information and educational demonstrations. Saturday hours are from 12 noon until 5:30 p.m.; Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Don't miss this chance to learn about one of the most intriguing and amazing plants in the world. Admission by donation.

For visiting societies, vendors and judges to this year's show, the show booklet is available to download here or as a PDF. This is done in lieu of sending hard copies as was done in previous years.

A new members-only section of the website has been added. It will contain documents to download and other information that is not suitable for the general public. It will require a username and password to gain access. You can find it by clicking on the Members Only. Please check your email for a message about gaining access to this section. Thanks to the hard work of Cathy and Karen, we now have a new location for our monthly meetings! The First Congregational Church on Center Road at the base of the Peninsula.
